No Wars: Home or Abroad
ICE may have slipped out of the headlines, but its machinery hasn’t slowed. Inside the agency, the style of enforcement has shifted. The high-visibility, centrally orchestrated operations associated with former Secretary Noem have given way to a quieter, more decentralized model under new DHS leadership. Amid this turmoil, the president has shifted attention toward new threats of aggression, this time directed at Cuba, echoing earlier rhetoric toward Venezuela. The pattern is familiar, escalating tensions abroad while offering no coherent strategy at home. WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER.
